Dhanteras Mantras — Lakshmi, Kubera & Dhanvantari Worship
Dhanteras (धनतेरस), or Dhanatrayodashi, is the first day of Diwali, dedicated to wealth (dhan) and health. It celebrates Goddess Lakshmi, Kubera the treasurer, and Lord Dhanvantari, the divine physician who emerged with the pot of amrit. It is the most auspicious day to buy gold, silver and new utensils. These are the mantras for Dhanteras.
Lakshmi Mantra & Kubera Mantra
Chant the Lakshmi Mantra "Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed" and the Kubera Mantra 108 times on Dhanteras to invite wealth and prosperity for the year.
Dhanvantari Mantra — For Health
Dhanteras is also Dhanvantari Jayanti. Chant "Om Namo Bhagavate Dhanvantaraye" for health and freedom from disease, alongside Vishnu prayers, since Dhanvantari is a form of Vishnu.
