About Chandraghantaचन्द्रघण्टा

Goddess Chandraghanta is the third form of Navdurga. She has a half-moon shaped like a bell (Ghanta) on her forehead. She rides a tiger, has ten arms carrying weapons, and represents bravery and fearlessness. Chandraghanta is the married form of Parvati — after winning Shiva through penance, she adorned herself with the crescent moon. Worshipping her removes all sins and obstacles.
