About Brahmachariniब्रह्मचारिणी

Goddess Brahmacharini is the second form of Navdurga. She represents the unmarried form of Goddess Parvati who performed severe tapas (penance) for thousands of years to win Lord Shiva as her husband. She walks barefoot carrying a Japa Mala (rosary) and Kamandalu (water pot). She bestows wisdom, knowledge, and the power of determination upon her devotees.
