The Shivashtakam (Vyasa) is traditionally ascribed to Veda Vyasa. An eight-verse hymn to Lord Shiva spoken by the sage Veda Vyasa, found in the Kashi Khanda of the Skanda Purana — adoring Shiva as the supreme Lord, the giver of liberation.
