The Hanumat Pancharatnam is traditionally ascribed to Adi Shankaracharya. Adi Shankaracharya’s "five gems" in praise of Hanuman — five jewel-verses adoring the son of the wind, the devoted servant of Sita-Rama, ocean of strength and the very form of devotion.

Bathe and sit facing east before an image of the deity. Light a lamp and recite the Hanumat Pancharatnam slowly and with devotion. It may be chanted daily, or especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays and during Hanuman Jayanti.
