Kaal Sarp Dosh forms when all seven planets fall between Rahu and Ketu (the shadow planets, the cosmic serpent's head and tail) in the birth chart. It is believed to cause sudden ups and downs, delays, recurring obstacles, snake-related dreams and a sense of unseen blockage. The supreme remedy is the worship of Lord Shiva — the master of serpents — along with Rahu-Ketu shanti. These mantras and upay are traditionally prescribed to pacify Kaal Sarp Dosh.

The supreme Shiva mantra for Kaal Sarp Dosh — it removes fear, untimely trouble and the serpent's grip.
📅 Chant 108 times daily, especially on Mondays, Nag Panchami and during Shravan.
ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्।

Shiva wears serpents as ornaments and is the lord of Kaal Sarp — his Panchakshari mantra dissolves the dosha.

- ✦Worship Lord Shiva and offer water + raw milk on a Shivling daily — this is the single most effective Kaal Sarp remedy.
- ✦Perform Nag Devta puja on Nag Panchami; offer milk to a silver or copper naga-nagin pair and float it / keep it at a Shiva temple.
- ✦A Kaal Sarp Shanti puja at Trimbakeshwar (Nashik) or Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain) is the traditional one-time remedy.
- ✦Donate on Saturdays — black sesame, a black blanket, or coconut floated in flowing water for Rahu-Ketu shanti.
