Each date is checked at New Delhi sunrise for an auspicious vivah nakshatra, an allowed tithi and weekday, and is excluded if it falls in Chaturmas, Holashtak or Adhik Maas. The final lagna (wedding hour) should be fixed with your purohit.
Why are there no dates from July to November?
That is Chaturmas — the four holy months from Devshayani Ekadashi to Prabodhini Ekadashi when Lord Vishnu is in yoga-nidra; marriages are traditionally not held during this period.
