श्री तुलसी आरती

Verse 1
मैया जय तुलसी माता ।
सब जग की सुखदाता सबकी वरमाता ॥
Maiya jaya tulasi mata
Saba jaga ki sukhadata sabaki varamata
Mother, victory to you, Mother Tulsi; giver of joy to all the world, the boon-granting mother of all.
Verse 2
सब योगों से ऊपर सब रोगों से ऊपर ।
रज से रक्ष करके सबकी भव त्राता ॥
Saba yogom se upara saba rogom se upara
Raja se raksha karake sabaki bhava trata
Above all yogas and above all diseases; guarding all from the dust (of sin), you are the saviour of all from worldly existence.
Verse 3
बटु पुत्री है श्यामा सुर बल्ली है ग्राम्या ।
विष्णुप्रिय जो नर तुमको सेवे सो नर तर जाता ॥
Batu putri hai shyama sura balli hai gramya
Vishnupriya jo nara tumako seve so nara tara jata
You are dark-hued Shyama and the village-creeper; whoever, dear to Vishnu, serves you — that person is carried across.
Verse 4
हरि के शीश विराजत त्रिभुवन से हो वन्दित ।
पतित जनों की तारिणी तुम हो विख्याता ॥
Hari ke shisha virajata tribhuvana se ho vandita
Patita janom ki tarini tuma ho vikhyata
You rest upon the head of Hari (Vishnu) and are adored by the three worlds; renowned as the deliverer of fallen souls.
Verse 5
लेकर जन्म विजन में आई दिव्य भवन में ।
मानव लोक तुम्हीं से सम्पति पाता ॥
Lekara janma vijana mem ai divya bhavana mem
Manava loka tumhim se sampati pata
Taking birth in the wilderness, you came into the divine abode; through you alone the world of men gains prosperity.
Verse 6
हरि को तुम अति प्यारी श्यामवर्ण सुकुमारी ।
प्रेम अजब है उनका तुमसे कैसा नाता ॥
Hari ko tuma ati pyari shyamavarna sukumari
Prema ajaba hai unaka tumase kaisa nata
You are most dear to Hari, the dark-hued, tender one; wondrous is his love — what a bond is yours with him!
Verse 7
हमारी विपद हरो तुम कृपा करो माता ॥
Hamari vipada haro tuma kripa karo mata
Remove our misfortune; show us your grace, O Mother.
