गले में बैजंती माला।
बजावै मुरली मधुर बाला॥
श्रवण में कुण्डल झलकाला।
नंद के आनंद नंदलाला॥
गगन सम अंग कांति काली।
राधिका चमक रही आली॥
लतन में ठाढ़े बनमाली।
भ्रमर सी अलक, कस्तूरी तिलक लाली॥

Around his neck hangs a garland of Baijanti flowers. The beautiful child plays the sweet flute. Earrings sparkle on his ears. He is Nandlala, the joy of Nanda. His body gleams dark like the sky. Radhika shines beside him, O friend. The wearer of forest-flower garlands stands amidst the creepers. His curls are like black bees, with a musk tilak and rosy lips.

कनकमय मोर मुकुट बिलसै।
देवता दरसन को तरसें॥
गगन सों सुमन रासि बरसै।
हाथन में वेणु बिराजै॥
भ्रमर सी अलक, कस्तूरी तिलक लाली॥

Devata Darsan Ko Tarsein
Gagan Son Suman Rasi Barsai
Hathan Mein Venu Birajai

Jahan Te Prakat Bhai Ganga
Sakal Man Harini Shri Ganga
Smaran Te Hot Moh Bhanga
Basi Mere Nandlal Ke Sanga
Bhramar Si Alak, Kasturi Tilak Lali
