atha kruddhaṃ mahāsainyamasurāṇāṃ tathāmbikā vavarṣa sāyakaistīkṣṇaistathā śaktiparaśvadhaiḥ

Meaning

Then Ambika rained sharp arrows, spears and battle-axes upon the enraged great army of the asuras.
