tataḥ parājitā devāḥ padmayoniṃ prajāpatim puraskṛtya gatāstatra yatreśagaruḍadhvajau

Meaning

Then the vanquished gods, placing Brahma the lotus-born Prajapati at their head, went to where Shiva and Vishnu (the Garuda-bannered) were.
