Transliteration

tatrāsurairmahāvīryairdevasainyaṃ parājitam jitvā ca sakalān devānindro'bhūnmahiṣāsuraḥ

Meaning

In it the army of the gods was vanquished by the mighty asuras; and having conquered all the gods, Mahishasura became Indra (lord of heaven).
