About Kushmandaकूष्माण्डा

Goddess Kushmanda is the fourth form of Navdurga. Her name means "the cosmic egg" (Ku = little, Ushma = warmth/energy, Anda = egg). She is believed to have created the entire universe with her divine smile when there was nothing but darkness. She resides in the core of the Sun, providing light and energy to all living beings. She has eight arms (Ashtabhuja) and rides a lion.
