Verse 1
हे गिरिधर तेरी आरती गाऊँ, प्यारे आपको रिझाऊँ ।
श्याम सुन्दर तेरी आरती गाऊँ, श्री बाँके बिहारी तेरी आरती गाऊँ ॥
He giridhara teri arati gaun, pyare apako rijhaun
Shyama sundara teri arati gaun, shri banke bihari teri arati gaun
O Giridhar, I sing your aarti and delight you, my beloved; O beautiful dark-hued one, I sing your aarti — O Shri Banke Bihari, I sing your aarti.
Verse 2
मोर मुकुट प्यारे शीश पे सोहे, प्यारी बंसी मेरो मन मोहे ।
देख छवि बलिहारी मैं जाऊँ ॥
Mora mukuta pyare shisha pe sohe, pyari bamsi mero mana mohe
Dekha chhavi balihari maim jaun
The peacock-crown graces your dear head and your sweet flute enchants my mind; beholding your beauty, I give myself wholly to you.
Verse 3
चरणों से निकली गंगा प्यारी, जिसने सारी दुनिया तारी ।
मैं उन चरणों के दर्शन पाऊँ ॥
Charanom se nikali gamga pyari, jisane sari duniya tari
Maim una charanom ke darshana paun
From your feet flowed the beloved Ganga that delivered the whole world; may I gain the darshan of those feet.
Verse 4
दास अनाथ के नाथ आप हो, दुःख-सुख जीवन प्यारे साथ आप हो ।
हरि चरणों में शीश झुकाऊँ ॥
Dasa anatha ke natha apa ho, duhkha-sukha jivana pyare satha apa ho
Hari charanom mem shisha jhukaun
You are the Lord of the orphaned servant; in sorrow and joy you are the dear companion of life; at Hari's feet I bow my head.
Verse 5
श्री हरिदास के प्यारे तुम हो, मेरे मोहन जीवनधन हो ।
देख युगल छवि बलि-बलि जाऊँ ॥
Shri haridasa ke pyare tuma ho, mere mohana jivanadhana ho
Dekha yugala chhavi bali-bali jaun
You are the beloved of Shri Haridas; you are my Mohan, the very treasure of my life; beholding the divine pair (Radha-Krishna), I offer myself again and again.
