tamāyāntaṃ samālokya devī śaṅkhamavādayat jyāśabdaṃ cāpi dhanuṣaścakārātīva duḥsaham

Meaning

Seeing him approach, the Devi blew her conch and made the twang of her bowstring exceedingly unbearable.
