tāḍite vāhane devī kṣurapreṇāsimuttamam niśumbhasyāśu ciccheda carma cāpyaṣṭacandrakam

Meaning

When her mount was struck, the Devi quickly cut, with a razor-sharp arrow, Nishumbha's excellent sword, and his shield marked with eight moons as well.
