kaumārī śaktihastā ca mayūravaravāhanā yoddhumabhyāyayau daityānambikā guharūpiṇī

Meaning

Kaumari, in the form of Guha (Kartikeya), spear in hand and riding a fine peacock — (she who is) Ambika herself — came to fight the daityas.
