ṛṣiruvāca tāvānītau tato dṛṣṭvā caṇḍamuṇḍau mahāsurau uvāca kālīṃ kalyāṇī lalitaṃ caṇḍikā vacaḥ

(The Rishi said:) Then, seeing those two great asuras Chanda and Munda brought before her, the auspicious Chandika spoke this graceful word to Kali:
