Transliteration

utthāya ca mahāsiṃhaṃ devī caṇḍamadhāvata gṛhītvā cāsya keśeṣu śirastenāsinācchinat

Meaning

And rising upon her great lion, the Devi rushed at Chanda; seizing him by the hair, she severed his head with her sword.
