दृष्ट्वा तदापतच्छूलं देवी शूलममुञ्चत तेन तच्छतधा नीतं शूलं महासुरः

Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā tadāpatacchūlaṃ devī śūlamamuñcata tena tacchatadhā nītaṃ śūlaṃ sa ca mahāsuraḥ

Meaning

Seeing that pike falling, the Devi let fly her own pike; by it that pike was shattered into a hundred fragments, and that great asura too.
