Transliteration

tataḥ siṃho'bhavatsadyo yāvattasyāmbikā śiraḥ chinatti tāvat puruṣaḥ khaḍgapāṇiradṛśyata

Meaning

Then at once he became a lion; and just as Ambika moved to cut off its head, he appeared as a man, sword in hand.
