Transliteration

sa devīṃ śaravarṣeṇa vavarṣa samare'suraḥ yathā merugireḥ śa‍ṛṅgaṃ toyavarṣeṇa toyadaḥ

Meaning

That asura rained showers of arrows upon the Devi in battle, as a cloud (pours) showers of water on the peak of Mount Meru.
