kāladaṇḍādyamo daṇḍaṃ pāśaṃ cāmbupatirdadau prajāpatiścākṣamālāṃ dadau brahmā kamaṇḍalum

Meaning

Yama gave a staff from his staff of Death; Varuna, lord of waters, a noose; Prajapati gave a rosary, and Brahma a water-pot.
