Transliteration

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tato vavre nṛpo rājyamavibhraṃśyanyajanmani atraiva ca nijaṃ rājyaṃ hataśatrubalaṃ balāt

Meaning

(Markandeya said:) Then the king chose a kingdom imperishable in another birth, and, here itself, his own kingdom — with the strength of his foes destroyed by force.
