vanamabhyāgato duḥkhī nirastaścāptabandhubhiḥ so'haṃ na vedmi putrāṇāṃ kuśalākuśalātmikām

Meaning

Driven to the forest in grief, abandoned by my trusted kinsmen, and dwelling here, I do not know whether things go well or ill with my sons.
