Verse 1
सिन्धु तरन सिय शोक नसावन रावन मारि सुगंध विभीषन को।
जो सम्पत्ति बिभीषन को दिन्ही दिनहिं ते राम प्रताप सुदेस महा॥
Sindhu Taran Siy Shok Nasavan Ravan Mari Sugandh Vibheeshan Ko
Jo Sampatti Vibheeshan Ko Dinhi Dinhi Te Ram Pratap Sudesh Maha
You who crossed the ocean, destroyed Sita's grief, killed Ravana, and gave the kingdom to Vibhishana. The wealth given to Vibhishana that day was by the great glory of Lord Ram.
Verse 2
बालकपन अरु बज्र शरीरा।
कुलिश कठोर तनय रनधीरा॥
Balakpan Aru Bajra Sharira
Kulish Kathor Tanay Randhira
From childhood your body has been hard as a thunderbolt. You are hard as diamond, brave in battle.
Verse 3
सब सुख लहैं तुम्हारी सरना।
तुम रक्षक काहू को डरना॥
Sab Sukh Lahai Tumhari Sarna
Tum Rakshak Kahu Ko Darna
All happiness comes to those who take your refuge. You are the protector — there is nothing to fear.
Verse 4
करहु कृपा गुरुदेव की नाई।
हाथ की व्याधि तुरत मिट जाई॥
Karahu Kripa Gurudev Ki Nai
Hath Ki Vyadhi Turat Mit Jai
Show mercy as our supreme teacher. May the disease of the arms be instantly cured.
Verse 5
पवनतनय बल पवन समाना।
बुद्धि विवेक बिज्ञान निधाना॥
Pavantanay Bal Pavan Samana
Buddhi Vivek Bigyan Nidhana
O son of Wind, your strength equals the wind. You are the treasure of wisdom, discernment and knowledge.
Verse 6
कवन सो काज कठिन जग माहीं।
जो नहिं होय तात तुम्ह पाहीं॥
Kavan So Kaj Kathin Jag Mahi
Jo Nahi Hoy Taat Tumh Pahi
What task is difficult in this world that cannot be accomplished by you, O father?
Verse 7
तुलसीदास सदा हरि चेरा।
कीजै नाथ हृदय महँ डेरा॥
Tulsidas Sada Hari Chera
Keejai Nath Hriday Mah Dera
Tulsidas is forever the servant of Hari. O Lord, make your dwelling in my heart.
Verse 8
तुलसी सुमिरि राम गुन गाथा।
हनुमान बाहुक अब हाथा॥
Tulsi Sumiri Ram Gun Gatha
Hanuman Bahuk Ab Hatha
Tulsidas remembers and sings the virtues of Ram. The Hanuman Bahuk now heals the arms/hands.
