Verse 1
आरती कीजै हनुमान लला की।
दुष्ट दलन रघुनाथ कला की॥
Aarti Keejai Hanuman Lala Ki
Dusht Dalan Raghunath Kala Ki
Perform the aarti of dear Hanuman, who is the art of Lord Raghunath in crushing the wicked.
Verse 2
जाके बल से गिरिवर कांपे।
रोग दोष जाके निकट न झांके॥
Jake Bal Se Girivar Kampe
Rog Dosh Jake Nikat Na Jhanke
By whose strength great mountains tremble. Diseases and defects dare not come near him.
Verse 3
अंजनि पुत्र महा बलदाई।
संतन के प्रभु सदा सहाई॥
Anjani Putra Maha Baldaai
Santan Ke Prabhu Sada Sahaai
Son of Anjani, great bestower of strength. Always the helper of saints and devotees.
Verse 4
दे बीरा रघुनाथ पठाए।
लंका जारि सिया सुधि लाए॥
De Bira Raghunath Pathaaye
Lanka Jaari Siya Sudhi Laaye
The brave one, sent by Lord Raghunath, burned Lanka and brought news of Sita.
Verse 5
लंका सो कोट समुद्र सी खाई।
जात पवनसुत बार न लाई॥
Lanka So Kot Samudra Si Khaai
Jaat Pavansut Baar Na Laai
Lanka's fort with an ocean-like moat — the son of Wind crossed it in an instant.
Verse 6
लंका जारि असुर संहारे।
सियारामजी के काज संवारे॥
Lanka Jaari Asur Sanhaare
SiyaRamji Ke Kaaj Sanvaare
He burned Lanka and destroyed the demons. He accomplished all the tasks of Sita and Ram.
Verse 7
लक्ष्मण मूर्छित पड़े सकारे।
आणि संजीवन प्राण उबारे॥
Lakshman Murchhit Pade Sakaare
Aani Sanjeevan Praan Ubaare
When Lakshman lay unconscious at dawn, he brought the Sanjeevani herb and saved his life.
Verse 8
पैठी पाताल तोरि जम कारे।
अहिरावण की भुजा उखारे॥
Paithi Paataal Tori Jam Kaare
Ahiravan Ki Bhuja Ukhaare
He entered the underworld and broke the chains of death. He tore off Ahiravan's arms.
Verse 9
बाएं भुजा असुर दल मारे।
दाहिने भुजा संतजन तारे॥
Baayein Bhuja Asur Dal Maare
Daahinein Bhuja Santjan Taare
With the left arm he slays armies of demons. With the right arm he saves the saints.
Verse 10
सुर नर मुनि जन आरती उतारें।
जय जय जय हनुमान उचारें॥
Sur Nar Muni Jan Aarti Utaarein
Jai Jai Jai Hanuman Uchaarein
Gods, humans and sages perform his aarti. All chant: Victory, Victory, Victory to Hanuman!
Verse 11
कंचन थार कपूर लौ छाई।
आरती करत अंजना माई॥
Kanchan Thaar Kapur Lau Chhaai
Aarti Karat Anjana Maai
On a golden plate, the glow of camphor spreads. Mother Anjana performs the aarti.
Verse 12
जो हनुमानजी की आरती गावे।
बसि बैकुंठ परम पद पावे॥
Jo Hanumanji Ki Aarti Gaave
Basi Baikunth Param Pad Paave
Whoever sings this aarti of Hanuman-ji shall reside in Vaikuntha and attain the supreme state.
