How to Chant श्री बृहस्पति देव आरती
Instructions
Light a lamp (ghee or camphor) and, holding it, perform the aarti by circling it before the deity while singing, ideally with a bell. Offer flowers and prasad, and conclude by taking the aarti blessing (passing the hands over the flame and to the eyes). Sing with devotion and a steady heart.
Spiritual Significance

Brihaspati is the Guru of the gods (Devaguru) and lord of the planet Jupiter — the giver of wisdom, righteousness, prosperity and good fortune. Worshipped especially on Thursdays alongside Lord Vishnu (whose day Thursday is), his aarti is sung with offerings of yellow — bananas, gram and jaggery — to win his benevolent grace.
